1. Overview & Commitment
Formtron ("we", "our", or "us") is a premium, one-time paid 3D reference viewer application available on the Google Play Store. It is specifically designed for 3D artists, sculptors, animators, and digital creators to view, inspect, and analyze 3D reference models offline on mobile devices.

• We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy provides a clear, transparent explanation of what information Formtron accesses, processes, or stores-and, just as importantly, what information it does NOT collect.

2. Zero Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

• No User Accounts: Formtron operates completely offline and does not require registration, login credentials, usernames, email addresses, or account creation.

• No Profile Data: We do not collect names, phone numbers, contact lists, photos, or personal identifiers.

• No Location Data: Formtron does not access or track GPS, IP-based location, or geographic telemetry.

• No Device Identifiers for Tracking: We do not harvest unique device IDs (such as IMEI, Android ID, Advertising ID, or MAC address) for user tracking, profiling, or targeted advertising.

3. Local File Access & Storage Permissions

Formtron uses Android's built-in file picker to let you select and open your own .glb, .gltf, .obj, or .fbx 3D reference model files, and to save or restore CSV backups. The app does not request broad storage or "all files access" permission. You choose each file individually, and Formtron receives access only to that file, only for that action.

• Local On-Device Processing: All 3D models imported into Formtron are rendered locally using your device's GPU hardware renderer.

• Zero Cloud Transmissions: Your 3D models, files, thumbnails, and custom folder metadata are never uploaded, copied, backed up, or transmitted to external servers, cloud storage, or third-party databases.

• No File Tracking: We have zero visibility into your private files, project assets, or file paths.

• Notifications: Formtron may request notification permission to send optional local practice reminders. These are scheduled and generated entirely on your device, and require no personal information.

 

4. In-App Tools (Clocktron & Himila)

• Formtron includes two built-in creative tools alongside the 3D model viewer: Clocktron, a drawing timer, and Himila, a personal practice tracker that lets you mark the days you drew and which course you practised.

• Fully Offline Operation: Both tools run entirely on your device. They do not require an internet connection, account, login, or server of any kind.

• Local Storage Only: Your practice calendar, marked days, course selections, timer settings, and streak history are stored solely in the app's private local storage on your device. This data is never uploaded, transmitted, synced, or shared with us or any third party.

• No Usage Tracking: We do not monitor or log how often you use these tools, which days you mark, or which courses you select.

• Your Data, Your Control: You can export your practice history as a CSV file to your own device storage at any time, and restore it back into the app from that file. This gives you a portable backup you fully control, and lets you move your practice record to a new device. Import and export happen entirely on your device; Formtron does not send these files anywhere. You can clear your practice history inside the app at any time, and uninstalling Formtron permanently removes all tool data from your device.

6. One-Time Paid Purchase & Payment Processing
Formtron is distributed as a one-time paid application through the Google Play Store.

• Payment Handled by Google Play: All financial transactions, billing, subscriptions, and payment processing are handled 100% securely by Google Play Billing Services.

• No Financial Information Held by Us: Helaela does not receive, access, collect, or store any credit card details, bank account information, or billing addresses.

7. Third-Party Services & Technical Telemetry
Formtron does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, social tracking pixels, or intrusive analytics SDKs.

• Google Play Vitals & Crash Telemetry: Google Play Store may independently collect anonymized system diagnostics, system crash logs, and installation metrics to ensure platform stability. This technical telemetry is aggregated, completely anonymized, and managed directly by Google.

• No Advertising: Formtron is 100% ad-free. We do not display ads or integrate ad-tracking networks.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)
Formtron complies strictly with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Google Play’s Families Policy.

• Because Formtron collects zero personal data from any user, it does not knowingly collect, request, or store information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU).

• If a parent or legal guardian has any concerns regarding their child’s use of the app, they may contact us directly at support@helaela.com.

9. Data Retention & User Data Deletion Rights
Because all application data (custom model lists, folders, and preferences) is stored locally on your device using Android local storage:

• Instant File Deletion: You can delete any imported 3D model or folder directly inside the app at any time.

• Complete Data Purge: Uninstalling Formtron from your Android device immediately and permanently deletes all locally stored application data and preferences.

• No Server Residuals: Since no data is ever uploaded to external servers, no data deletion request is needed for cloud data.
