Using darker blue for her dress, which takes up a large area of the character, and lighter blue for her face that is a small area in character - helps create contrast and draw attention. To further highlight her face, I added orangey-yellow accents on the collar and hat, while the rest remains in similar blue tones with slight value variation - so it doesn’t grab attention as much, since only highly saturated colors stand out, So our attention will directly go to Mila's face.
